Programación didáctica de Inglés para 3er curso de Educación Primaria. ÁREA PRIMERA LENGUA EXTRANJERA: INGLÉS
“XIÉ: A LAND OF WISDOM”

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado consiste en una Programación Anual para el tercer curso de educación primaria en la asignatura de primera lengua extranjera: Inglés.
Dicha programación consta de nueve unidades didácticas que tienen como hilo conductor una historia de la que los alumnos toman parte para cumplir una misión. Se pretende trabajar a través de la metodología del aprendizaje basado en proyectos y el aprendizaje cooperativo. Esta forma de trabajo motiva a los alumnos, les facilita el interés por el contenido y fomenta un buen ambiente en la clase.

La historia que sirve como hilo conductor consiste en una “búsqueda del tesoro”. Esta historia trata sobre la desaparición de la familia real de Xié a manos del villano Strombol y los alumnos conformaran el grupo de rescate. A través de las distintas unidades, Bologolo, el bufón real les guía para conseguir las pistas que les llevaran a encontrar a la familia real. Cada una de estas unidades es un lugar diferente del país de Xié y al final de las mismas los alumnos tendrán que superan una gymkhana que nos asegurará que han entendido el contenido.

Como se ha mencionado anteriormente el trabajo cooperativo es una gran parte de proyecto y por ello se van a elaborar 5 grupos de “rescatadores”. Los miembros del equipo conseguirán las pistas como grupo, por ello al finalizar la unidad todos los miembros han de superar la gymkhana para poder conseguir el sobre que les llevará a la siguiente unidad. Sin embargo, no todas las actividades serán cooperativas, sino que también habrá trabajo individual para trabajar las diferentes aptitudes y comprobar los puntos fuertes y más débiles de los alumnos.

Para finalizar, lo que se pretende con esta forma de trabajo es abordar las unidades y el contenido de inglés desde una perspectiva diferente para que los alumnos sientan más entusiasmo acerca de la asignatura y el proceso de aprendizaje.

This final degree project is based on an annual syllabus of the First foreign language subject for grade three of primary education.

This syllabus has nine didactic units that have a story as a thread that gives them unity and connects them. The whole syllabus is based on a series of projects and on cooperative learning. This motivates the student and interests them in the content and also helps to create a good climate of work.

The common thread is a story that guides a scavenger hunt. This story is about the disappearance of the royal family of Xié because of a villain called Strombol and the students are considered a group of rescuers. Through the different units Bologolo, the royal jester guides the students in order to get clues that will help them to find out where the royal family is. Each unit is a different place of Xié and it is related to the content that is seen in them. At the end of each unit they will have an escape room that will guarantee that the students have interiorized and learned the content.

As previously mentioned cooperative work is a large part of this syllabus so the students will be organized in groups of 5 rescuers. They will get the clues at the end of each unit as a group so each one of the members has to pass the different parts of the escape room in order for the whole team to get the clue envelope. However not every single activity will be cooperative, there will be individual work as well so we can check each student’s strengths and points of improvement.


In general, what we intend with this way of working is to approach the units and the content of English from a different perspective so students would feel more enthusiastic about working and learning.
