Los niños robados en España: protección internacional y respuesta nacional

Durante décadas hasta etapas muy próximas, en España, cientos de familias y niños han vivido, en silencio y bajo engaño, una de las mayores atrocidades cometidas en nuestro país, el tráfico de bebés. Miembros de organizaciones religiosas y personal funcionario, administrativo y sanitario traficaron, amparados en la impunidad, con miles de niños convertidos en mercancía, arrebatándoles su identidad.

Ya fueren motivados por motivos políticos, ideológicos o meramente económicos, los responsables de esta barbarie siguen impunes, sin ser condenados ni juzgados. El aparato judicial español archiva la mayoría de las denuncias obstaculizando el derecho a la verdad, a la justicia y a la reparación al que tanto víctimas como familiares deberían de tener acceso. Permitiendo el Estado español la impunidad de dichos crímenes, sólo queda que aquellos niños desaparecidos y sus familias se amparen a la justicia universal, bajo las directrices del Derecho Internacional de los Derechos Humanos.

For decades to very close stages, in Spain, hundreds of families and children have lived, in silence and under deception, one of the greatest atrocities committed in our country, the trafficking of babies. Members of religious organizations and civil servants, administrative and health personnel trafficked, with impunity, thousands of children turned into merchandise, taking away their identity.

Whether they were motivated by political, ideological or merely economic motives, those responsible for this barbarity continue to go unpunished, without being condemned or tried. The Spanish judicial system files most of the complaints, thus obstructing the right to truth, justice and reparation to which both victims and their families should have access. The Spanish state allows impunity for these crimes, but the only thing left is for the disappeared children and their families to be protected by universal justice, under the guidelines of international human rights law.
