La filosofía ambiental de América Latina entre la
ecología, la economía y la ética-política

La filosofía ambiental es la búsqueda
de la alternativa a la crisis ambiental
de nuestro tiempo. Las relaciones
diluidas y en algunos casos rotas
entre la economía, la ética y la política
producen deshumanidad, destrucción
y aniquilación. La meta es restablecer
la relación reconociendo las fracturas.
El espacio a partir del cual se reflexiona
es América Latina en su historia de
vida y de exclusión. Los objetivos son
analizar los antecedentes históricos de
la cultura ambiental; evidenciar que la
crisis ambiental exige un cambio copernicano
en la relación sociedad-naturaleza;
criticar la interrelación entre
la economía, la ecología y la ética; y
cuidar la casa común (tierra, techo y
trabajo).

The environmental philosophy
is the search for the alternative to the
environmental crisis of our time. The
diluted and in some cases broken
relationships between economy, ethics
and politics produce inhumanity,
destruction and annihilation. The goal is
to restore the relationship by recognizing
the fractures. The space from which we
reflect is Latin America in its history of
life and exclusion. The objectives are
to analyze the historical background of
the environmental culture of America;
to show that the environmental crisis
requires a Copernican s change in
the relationship between society and
nature; to criticize the interrelation
between economy, ecology and ethics;
and to take care of the common house
(land, roof and work).
