La bondad de Dios manifestada en Cristo

Nuestra historia no comienza con el desamparo, ni en la soledad sombría de las afueras. En un arranque de ternura el Padre nos ha bendecido dándonos en Cristo con todo el amor del Espíritu para ser hijos en el Hijo. La fragilidad habitada, y abrazada por un Amor que nos sobrepasa y nos excede se transfigura en vulnerabilidad que nos conecta y nos hermana. La bondad sanadora y salvadora de Dios se hace realidad concreta y tangible en las palabras y gestos de Jesús, expresión de los bienes mesiánicos anhelados y de la plenitud y la bendición que en Él nos alcanza. Al abajarse y servir entregando la vida hasta el final, muestra la inaudita benignidad del amor de Dios a la humanidad.

Our story does not begin in helplessness, nor in the bleak loneliness of the suburbs. In a burst of tenderness, the Father has blessed us by giving us in Christ with all the love of the Spirit to be sons in the Son. Fragility inhabited and embraced by a Love that surpasses and exceeds us is transfigured into vulnerability that connects us and makes us brothers and sisters. The healing and saving goodness of God becomes a concrete and tangible reality in the words and gestures of Jesus, the expression of a love that is beyond and beyond us.
