Esta introducción aclara el sentido en que se entiende aquí el concepto «dogmática ignaciana». Si, por una parte, cabe una aproximación más histórica, para reconstruir las fuentes, la época y el sentido de los términos básicos de la concepción teológica que alberga Ignacio en el destilado de su experiencia espiritual que cristaliza en sus escritos, también cabe, por otra parte, tomar de esa misma experiencia y de su formulación las grandes cuestiones teológicas que ella misma plantea. En este libro se privilegia esta segunda perspectiva, sin desdeñar ni olvidar la primera. La introducción también proporciona información sobre el origen del libro y su estructura.

This introduction clarifies the sense in which the concept of «Ignatian dogmatics» is understood here. If, on the one hand, there is a more historical approach, reconstructing the sources, the time and the meaning of the basic terms of the theological conception that Ignatius holds in the distillation of his spiritual experience that crystallizes in his writings, we can also, on the other hand, take from that same experience the formulation of the great theological questions that it poses. In this book this second perspective is privileged, without neglecting or forgetting the first one. The introduction also provides information on the origin of the book and its structure.
