Familia y bullying

El bullying es un fenómeno que actualmente tiene gran relevancia en España. Las cifras estadísticas demuestran que está creciendo exponencialmente y como consecuencia surge la necesidad de hacerle frente. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo explicar este fenómeno aportando una visión más amplia a la hora de relacionar el bullying con los estilos educativos familiares y el apego del menor ya que ambos aspectos se vinculan con la capacidad del niño para establecer relaciones intrapersonales e interpersonales. Los datos muestran como el estilo educativo autoritativo y el apego seguro suponen un factor protector frente al bullying, en cambio, el estilo de crianza negligente es el que implica un factor de riesgo mucho mayor para que el menor se involucre en dinámicas de acoso. Por último, se expondrán de forma breve algunas metodologías empleadas para prevenir, detectar e intervenir con el alumno, a nivel familiar y escolar ya que se espera trabajar de forma sistémica actuando con el menor y su entorno cercano. Pudiendo mejorar aspectos como la empatía, el autoconocimiento, el respeto a los demás, la autoestima y favorecer el aprendizaje de herramientas para la resolución de conflictos de manera pacífica.

Bullying is a phenomenon that its relevance is increasing in Spain. Statistics show how bullying is growing exponentially and it is need to face it up. This paper aims to explain this phenomenon by providing a broader vision finding the relations about school bullying with family educational styles and the child's attachment. Both aspects are linked to the child's ability to establish intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. The studies show that authoritative educational style and secure attachment are protective factors against bullying, however, the negligent parenting style represents a higher risk factor for the kid that is involved in bullying dynamics. To end up, some methodologies will be presented briefly to prevent, detect and intervene with the student, family and school. The way of working is by a systemic way by acting with the child and their immediate surroundings for being able to improve aspects such as empathy, self-knowledge, respect for others, self-esteem and favoring learning tools for conflict resolution in a peaceful manner.
