Elaboración de herramienta de control de inventario en una start-up

El desarrollo de este proyecto consiste en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de control de inventario, para su uso en una startup, que se dedica a gestionar un marketplace, donde los diferentes distribuidores venden sus productos. Como idea de futuro, la empresa valora empezar a distribuir sus propios productos y venderlos en la plataforma, para lo que necesitará un almacén y un sistema que les permita llevar un control de los productos almacenados en el mismo. Ese sistema es el diseñado en este proyecto, haciendo uso de una base de datos SQL y un robot, que automatice las principales actividades relacionadas con el funcionamiento de la herramienta mediante RPA
La base de datos, albergados en Microsoft Azure, consta de tres tablas. Control de Inventario, donde se almacena el nivel de inventario y el estado de los productos, Compras y Ventas, que permite registrar las entradas y salidas de los productos del almacén, y Maestro de Artículos, que contiene toda la información relevante de los diferentes artículos.
Para la automatización, se ha utilizado Power Automate Desktop, que permite la automatización de procesos de escritorio. Se han diseñado varios flujos que permiten automatizar las tareas asociadas a la gestión de los productos y sus pedidos en la base de datos.
Una vez finalizada, la herramienta es capaz de registrar los productos, anotar las compras y las ventas, actualizar los niveles de inventario de los productos y tomar decisiones en función de esos niveles. Todo esto se realiza de manera automática, liberando al encargado de esas tareas.

The development of this project consists of the design and implementation of an inventory control system, for use in a startup, which is dedicated to managing a marketplace, where different vendors sell their products. As an future plan, the company is considering starting to distribute its own products and sell them on the platform, for which it will need a warehouse and a system that allows them to keep track of the products stored inside. This such system is designed in this project, making use of an SQL database and a robot, which automates the main activities related to the operation of the tool through RPA.
The database, hosted in Microsoft Azure, consists of three tables. Inventory Control, where the inventory level and the status of the products are stored, Purchases and Sales, which allows registering the inputs and outputs of the products from the warehouse, and Products Master, which contains all the relevant information of the different items.
For the automation of the database, Power Automate Desktop has been used, which allows the automation of desktop processes. Several flows have been designed to automate the tasks associated with the management of products and their orders in the database.
Once complete, the tool is capable of registering products, recording purchases and sales, updating product inventory levels, and take actions based on those levels. All this is done automatically, freeing the person in charge of those tasks.
