El nacimiento de un nuevo modelo de hotel a la luz de la IV Revolución Industrial- Sánchez Muñoz, Sara Mª

El presente documento está dirigido a un análisis detallado sobre el gran reto que supone para la industria turística y en especial, para el sector hotelero la IV Revolución Industrial en la que vivimos hoy en día y sus diferentes implicaciones en los hoteles. En este sentido, se analiza, en primer lugar, la IV Revolución Industrial de una forma detallada para poder observar más adelante el nuevo modelo hotel que se esta redefiniendo en la actualidad. Para realizar este estudio sobre el nuevo modelo de hotel, un hotel 4.0, se analizan los nuevos productos y procesos tecnológicos, el nuevo cliente al que nos enfrentamos y la adaptación fundamental del factor humano ante estas nuevas tecnologías, los principios éticos profesionales y la situación actual a la que se enfrentan los hoteles ante el Covid-19.

This document is a detail analysis of the great challenge the tourism industry is facing and specially the hotel sector regarding the IV Industrial Revolution in which we live today and its different implications for hotels. In this case, firstly the IV Industrial Revolution will be deeply analyzed in order to understand the new hotel model that is being redefined now a days. In order to carry out this study on the new hotel model, a hotel 4.0, the new technological products and processes are analyzed, as well as the new client we are facing and the fundamental adaptation of the human factor to these new technologies, the professional ethical principles and the current situation facing hotels in the face of the Covid-19.
