El laicismo en la Constitución de la Segunda República Española

RESUMEN: Este trabajo aborda el encaje legal que quiso darse al hecho religioso en la Constitución de la Segunda República española. Para analizar este hecho nos remitimos singularmente al proceso de gestación constitucional para verter algo de luz sobre la fundamentación que nuestros parlamentarios quisieron darle al texto en general, y a los artículos más polémicos sobre la cuestión religiosa, en particular.

ABSTRACT: This paper examines the legal establishment of separation between Church and State through the Constitution of the Spanish Second Republic. We focus most of our attention on the constituent process in order to acquire a keener understanding on the foundations that legislators aimed at the Constitution in general, and the most controversial articles, in particular.
