El Espíritu Santo en la tradición

Es difícil reflexionar expresamente sobre el Espíritu Santo. Si hay algún momento en la historia de la tradición eclesial que la reflexión sobre él ha sido decisiva es en la segunda mitad del siglo IV en torno al Concilio de Constantinopla I (381) donde se declarará su divinidad. Todavía hoy, cuando confesamos el Credo dentro de la celebración de la eucaristía, con el Símbolo Nicenoconstantinopolitano, lo hacemos con esas palabras que fueron introducidas en el segundo concilio ecuménico de la Iglesia. Este artículo trata de comprender estas afirmaciones en su contexto histórico y en su significación perenne.
