El banco agente en los contratos de financiación sindicada

Las operaciones de financiación sindicada, cuyo fundamento radica en la sindicación bancaria, se han desarrollado y expandido a gran velocidad en nuestro país. El Banco Agente, principal coordinador de la operación e intermediario entre el Acreditado y el Sindicato Bancario, se ha convertido en una pieza clave en las relaciones entre las partes del contrato de financiación sindicada. Por su creciente importancia, el presente trabajo analiza su figura, labor y misión última: lograr el buen fin del contrato.

Syndicated loan transactions, whose foundation lies in the banking syndication, have developed and expanded rapidly in our country. The Agent Bank, main transaction coordinator and intermediary between the Borrower and the Banking Syndicate, has become a key element in the relations between the parties to the syndicated financing contracts. Due to its increasing importance, this paper analyses its role, functions and main objective: the completion of the contract.
