La obra presenta sintéticamente el aporte del Maestro Eckhart, uno de los místicos más fascinantes de la historia, y de sus discípulos, todos ellos dominicos. En primer lugar ofrece una introducción con las grandes líneas de pensamiento del Maestro Eckhart y sus discípulos Enrique Susón y Juan Tauler. A continuación se ofrecen textos originales del Maestro Eckhart (algunos de ellos inéditos en castellano y cuya traducción ha sido realizada por Silvia Bara y por Salvador Sandoval), de Tauler y de Susón. (textos traducidos por Salvador Sandoval).
The book presents the thought of Meister Eckhart, one of the most fascinating mystic of the history, and of his disciples, all of them Dominicans. It offers an introduction (of which I am the author) with the most important topics of the writings of Meister Eckhart and his disciples Henry Suso and and Johannes Tauler. After that some of the most important texts of Meister Eckhart are translated (some of them for the first time in Spanish, whose translators are Silvia Bara and Salvador Sandoval), and also texts of Tauler and Suso (texts translated by Salvador Sandoval).
