A través de este enlace (shorturl.at/uKLRT) pregunté a varios colegas de todo el mundo que trabajan en el estudio del comportamiento y la cognición animal sobre su profesión: si encontraron consenso en el nombre asignado a la disciplina; si encontraron consenso sobre los conceptos básicos de la disciplina; qué especies estudiaron y por qué; si tienen en cuenta el concepto de "Umwelt" al diseñar sus experimentos; qué dispositivos tecnológicos usaron o soñaron usar; qué tamaño de muestra solían tener; qué programa de estadísticas utilizan y qué análisis suelen realizar y cómo valoran que algunos eventos que pueden afectar a la disciplina en el futuro (como el cambio climático, la extinción de especies, problemas de financiación, baja diversidad étnica y de género en los equipos de investigación ...).

Across this link (shorturl.at/uKLRT) I asked several colleagues worldwide working in studying animal behaviour and cognition about their profession: whether they found consensus in the name assigned to the discipline; whether they found consensus on core concepts of the discipline; which species they studied and why; whether they take the concept of "Umwelt" into consideration when designing their experiments; which technology devices they used or dreamt about to use; which sample size they used to have; which stats program they use and which analysis they usually perform and how they assessed that some events may impact the discipline in the future (such as climate change, species extinction, funding problems, low gender and ethnic diversity in research teams...).
