Rendimiento matemático en el grado en ADE: un enfoque de género

Para una muestra de estudiantes de ADE, se analiza el nivel matemático previo a su acceso a la universidad y el obtenido en las dos asignaturas de matemáticas que se imparten durante el primer curso. Al 99,5% de confianza, las alumnas parten de un menor nivel matemático, pero su rendimiento en las asignaturas del primer curso es superior al de sus compañeros.

For a sample of BA students, the mathematical level prior to their access to the university and that obtained in the two mathematics subjects taught during the first year are analyzed. At 99.5% confidence, female start from a lower mathematical level, but their performance in the subjects of the first year is higher than that of their male peers.
