La vivencia cristiana del tiempo

El tiempo constituye una de las dimensiones fundamentales de la existencia humana, que refleja bien el talante fundamental que rezuma nuestra existencia. Vivimos en una época de estrés, prisa, angustia, depresión, frustración y ansiedad. ¿Puede el cristianismo aparecer como una buena noticia en una época de angustia?

Con Cristo llega la plenitud de los tiempos y comienza un tiempo nuevo: el tiempo de la salvación. El cristiano vive inmerso en este tiempo salvación y determinado por él. El centro de la fe cristiana proporciona una vivencia sana, reconciliada, esperanzada y plena del tiempo, también en nuestra época de angustias y de prisas.

Time is one of the fundamental dimensions of human existence, which reflects well the fundamental mood that exudes our existence. We live in a time of stress, rush, heartbreak, depression, frustration, and anxiety. Can Christianity appear as good news in a time of trouble?

With Christ comes the fullness of time and a new time begins: the time of salvation. The Christian lives immersed in this time of salvation and determined by it. The center of the Christian faith provides a healthy, reconciled, hopeful and full experience of time, even in our times of anguish and rush.
