Este trabajo lleva a cabo un profundo estudio de las criptomonedas y posteriormente de la necesaria digitalización que ha de producirse. Se comienza comentando el desarrollo histórico de las criptomonedas, desde el origen del concepto de moneda digital hasta la situación a día de hoy de las criptos. Tras esto, se pasará a analizar en profundidad las principales criptos según su capitalización de mercado con especial enfoque en Bitcoin y Ethereum. La tercera parte del trabajo empezará con una explicación del proceso de digitalización ante el que nos encontramos, y los pasos que hemos de seguir dando para continuar con el proceso. También se hará un comentario acerca de la situación actual de España respecto de esta modernización y digitalización. Tras esto, se pasará a la parte más importante del trabajo, se verá cual es el papel de las criptomonedas en este proceso de digitalización. Para ello se comenzará estudiando los riesgos que presentan estas monedas a la sociedad, y posteriormente, con la ayuda de dos entrevistas muy valiosas, se harán las conclusiones y reflexiones pertinentes acerca de mi visión sobre el futuro de las criptomonedas. La principal conclusión que he extraído de este trabajo es que el modelo actual de criptomonedas no es sostenible a largo plazo, pero que la tecnología que ofrecen es muy interesante y estoy seguro de que nos será de gran utilidad a largo plazo.

This paper carries out an in-depth study of cryptocurrencies and subsequently of the necessary digitalization that must take place. It begins by commenting on the historical development of cryptocurrencies to the current situation of cryptos. This will be followed by an in-depth analysis of the main cryptos according to their market capitalization, with a special focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum. The third part of the paper will begin with an explanation of the digitalization process we are currently undergoing, and the steps we need to take to continue with the process. It will also comment on the current situation in Spain with respect to this modernization and digitalization. After this, we will move on to the most important part of the work, which will look at the role of cryptocurrencies in this digitalization process. To do this, we will begin by studying the risks that these currencies present to society, and then, with the help of two very valuable interviews, we will make the relevant conclusions and reflections about my vision of the future of cryptocurrencies. The main conclusion I have drawn from this work is that the current model of cryptocurrencies is not sustainable in the long term, but that the technology they offer is very interesting and I am sure it will be of great use to us in the long term.
