El libro estudia los encuentros sanadores entre Jesús y las mujeres en los evangelios: mujer con flujo de sangre irregular, suegra de Pedro, Sirofenicia-cananea, mujer encorvada. Se trata de recuperar la memoria de estos relatos de curación, poniendo de relieve la contribución femenina en su curación. Ellas, habiendo recibido el don de la salud, se convirtieron en mediadoras divinas de sanación-salvación. El estudio está precedido por dos capítulos que abordan, por un lado, la relación entre mujeres, memoria e identidad colectiva y, por otro, estudia las relaciones entre cuerpo e identidades femeninas en contexto. Incluye igualmente un capítulo sobre el Jesús que sana con el poder de Dios.
The book studies the healing encounters between Jesus and women in the Gospels: woman with irregular blood flow, Peter's mother-in-law, Syrophoenicia-Canaanite, a crippled woman. It is about recovering the memory of these healing stories, highlighting the contribution of women in their healing. They, having received the gift of health, became divine mediators of healing-salvation. The study is preceded by two chapters that address, on the one hand, the relationship between women, memory and collective identity and, on the other, studies the relationships between body and female identities in context. It also includes a chapter on Jesus Healing with the power of God.
