La sostenibilidad financiera del sistema español de pensiones públicas

El presente trabajo de investigación analiza la viabilidad de nuestro actual sistema público de pensiones. Para ello, hemos analizado las variables que contribuyen a la insostenibilidad del sistema, proyectando el posible impacto que podría causar en el futuro de las pensiones. Asimismo, hemos examinado otros sistemas de pensiones adoptados por otros países, con el objetivo de buscar nuevas propuestas. Tras haber analizado las debilidades del sistema, junto con las reformas realizadas en los últimos años en nuestro país y en el resto de Europa, hemos definido exhaustivamente las posibles soluciones que podrían contribuir a la sostenibilidad del mismo. El trabajo concluye con que, el sistema se encuentra obsoleto y requiere urgentemente de un consenso social que acuerde la reforma estructural del mismo.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the viability of our current public pension system. We have analysed the variables that contribute to the unsustainability of the system, projecting the possible impact that it could have on the future of pensions. We have also examined other pension systems adopted by other countries, with the aim of seeking new proposals. Having analysed the weaknesses of the system, together with the reforms carried out in recent years in our country and in the rest of Europe, we have exhaustively defined the possible solutions that could contribute to the sustainability of the system. The study concludes that the system is obsolete and needs urgently a social agreement that advocates a structural system reform.
