La inversión de impacto en contextos de desarrollo: la medición de impacto en la industria del agribusiness en África Subsahariana

Se analizará la literatura académica existente y se tratará de fijar la situación concreta de la investigación en el ámbito de la medición de impacto social en contextos de inversión de impacto, en específico en la industria ya descrita. Tras este análisis preliminar, se tratará de analizar un caso concreto de inversión de impacto en la industria africana del agribusiness (proporcionada por el fondo de impacto Impact Bridge) para intentar aplicar la investigación previamente hecha cuales son los indicadores más útiles y significativos a la hora de plantear un análisis de impacto y así tratar de asentar estas métricas. Posteriormente se valorará la posibilidad de plantear un modelo econométrico con estas métricas. El objetivo de todo esto es tratar de proveer métricas efectivas que midan la calidad de la food security y el impacto social en los países implicados.

The existing academic literature will be analyzed and an attempt will be made to establish the concrete situation of research in the field of social impact measurement in impact investment contexts, specifically in the industry already described. Following this preliminary analysis, an analysis will be made of a specific case of impact investment in the African agribusiness industry (provided by the Impact Bridge impact fund) to try to apply the research previously done which are the most useful and significant indicators when considering an impact analysis and thus try to establish these metrics. Later, the possibility of proposing an econometric model with these metrics will be evaluated. The goal of all this is to try to provide effective metrics that measure the food security and the social impact on the implied countries.
