La Constitución Española: 1978-2018

La pretensión de este libro no es, en todo caso, abordar todas las cuestiones que en este momento pueden suscitar controversias desde el punto de vista constitucional. Tampoco hemos pretendido analizar todo el texto de nuestra Carta Magna, pues sería una tarea inabarcable. Lo que hemos procurado es seleccionar un ramillete de elementos, que en algunas ocasiones abarcan distintos apartados de la Constitución, y son más transversales, y en otras se refieren a cuestiones más específicas. Por eso hemos dividido el libro en cuatro partes, que no necesariamente coinciden con la propia estructura normativa del texto constitucional. Nos parecía que, por un lado, se trataba de hacer balance, de poner en valor algunos aspectos que hoy algunos se empeñan en cuestionar, y, por otra parte, de mirar hacia el futuro con algunas líneas de actuación o propuestas de mejora (y/o reforma) de nuestro sistema constitucional, en caso de que sean necesarias.

The pretension of this book is not, in any case, to address all the questions that at this moment can provoke controversies from the constitutional point of view. Nor have we tried to analyze the entire text of our Magna Carta, because it would be an immeasurable task. What we have tried is to select a bunch of elements, which sometimes cover different sections of the Constitution, and are more transversal, and in others they refer to more specific issues. That is why we have divided the book into four parts, which do not necessarily coincide with the normative structure of the constitutional text itself. It seemed to us that, on the one hand, it was about taking stock, putting into value some aspects that today some people insist on questioning, and, on the other hand, looking to the future with some lines of action or proposals for improvement (and / or reform) of our constitutional system, in case they are necessary.
