¿Es Singapur un Estado-Base? Un análisis crítico

Singapur, desde su nacimiento en 1965 como Estado soberano e independiente, ha sabido articular una magistral política exterior. Con el objetivo, tanto de garantizar la supervivencia del nuevo Estado, como de transformar económicamente la realidad del país. Con dicha meta, el pilar de ASEAN, como pivote de su política exterior, junto a la colaboración estrecha con Estados Unidos, se han conformado como las bases y garantes de su autonomía estratégica.
