Las plantas industriales automatizadas (aPS por sus siglas en inglés) experimentan múltiples cambios de funcionamiento a lo largo de su vida debido a múltiples ciclos de evolución que implican diferentes disciplinas y divergen en su duración y enfoque. Como consecuencia, se vuelve complicado administrar adecuadamente la fábrica y mantenerse competitivo. El enfoque presentado tiene como principal objetivo proporcionar un marco prototipo para ayudar tanto a identificar cambios de software y organizarlos de una manera integrada, equilibrada y comprensible
Manufacturing plants known as automated Production Systems (aPS) experience multiple requirement changes over their lifetime due to multiple cycles of evolution that involve different disciplines and diverge in their duration and focus. As a consequence, it becomes highly complicated to properly manage the factory and stay competitive. The presented approach mostly aims at providing a prototype framework to help both identify variants in automation software and organize them in an integrated, balanced and comprehensible way.
