El capítulo aborda el derecho a la identidad del niño, partiendo de su fundamento en el Convenio internacional de derechos del niño y analizando todos los elementos que conforman su contenido: filiación, identificación (nombres y apellidos), nacionalidad, vecindad civil, identidad sexual, y su principal garantía: su registro en el Registro Civil
The aim of the chapter is the child's right to identity, analyzing firstly its foundation in the International Convention on the Rights of the Child and, secondly, all the elements that make up its content: filiation, identification (name and surname), nationality, "vecindad civil", sexual identity, and its main guarantee: its registration in the Civil Registry
