Etiquetas: on 1 january 2016, the solvency ii directive came into force, with the goal of providing a harmonised insurance regulation. it introduces new requirements and criteria in risk and information management to protect users throughout europe. this paper analyses the technical specifications of capital requirements for health insurance. in addition, this technical analysis of the directive is complemented by a practical application comparing the minimum capital requirements obtained using the standard formula, which subjects the mortality risk to a shock, and those obtained using the simplified formula. in relation to this issue and other problems of adaptation which directive has encountered, a review of the regulation has been proposed for this 2020, opening a period of consultation with the institutions and supervisors of each state announcing the different possible solutions., eiopa, scr, mcr, life insurance
