Respuesta de la Seguridad Social a las situaciones de menores víctimas de violencia de género

La Seguridad Social viene a proteger y dar cobertura a situaciones de necesidad determinadas por la Ley que supone para el sujeto protegido una disminución de ingresos o un incremento de gastos. Por su parte, las situaciones de violencia de género conllevan riesgos personales y familiares que determinan situaciones de necesidad que han de ser protegidas, especialmente en el caso de los menores víctimas de la violencia.
Para ello se analizan las reformas que tratan de actuar en las prestaciones de muerte y supervivencia para tratar de dar mejor respuesta a las situaciones de necesidad en entornos de violencia de género y se focaliza la atención en las iniciativas que han surgido a fin de dar respuesta a las cuestiones sin resolver.
