Artículo 27 CE: El derecho a la educación

El derecho a la educación es uno de los derechos clásicos de los textos constitucionales y uno de los que mayores polémicas ha levantado durante los debates constitucionales de todas nuestras Constituciones históricas. Los motivos de las disputas siempre han sido por la importancia que tiene en un texto constitucional el modelo de educación que se pretende instituir, pues en él se expresan los valores y los ideales del régimen político que la propia Constitución crea. Además, el derecho a la educación no solo aglutina otros derechos y libertades, sino que su regulación define ámbitos de libertad frente al poder y compromisos sociales para el poder público.
