Producción de hidrógeno a partir de reformado de biometano

En el presente proyecto se analizarán los problemas que conlleva la acumulación de residuos sólidos urbanos en los vertederos y el estudio de los beneficios que tiene evitar que acaben ahí. Esto se conseguiría utilizando su fracción orgánica para generar biogás, que mediante procesos de acondicionamiento, limpieza y mejora se puede transformar en biometano. Se estudiarán los costes de producción e inversión que conlleva producir hidrógeno a partir de dicho biometano, obteniendo finalmente un vector energético que puede aportar flexibilidad y seguridad al sector energético.

This project will analyse the problems caused by the accumulation of solid urban waste in landfills and the study of the benefits of preventing it from ending up there. This would be achieved by using its organic fraction to generate biogas, which through conditioning, cleaning, and upgrading processes can be transformed into biomethane. The production and investment costs involved in producing hydrogen from this biomethane will be studied, finally obtaining an energy vector that can provide flexibility and security to the energy sector.
