El liberalismo en los principios de justicia de John Rawls

La finalidad principal de este trabajo es alcanzar un amplio entendimiento de las construcciones propuestas por John Rawls en sus principales obras. Nos centraremos especialmente en el concepto de justicia que ofrece, y navegaremos por las distintas formulaciones que en este sentido presenta el autor para tratar de consolidar una comprensión coherente y sistemática de su postura, para lo que nos apoyaremos además en otros teóricos de la justicia, como son Aristóteles o Kelsen.

Por otra parte, se abordarán también las concepciones rawlsianas desde la óptica del contractualismo, poniendo en contraste sus propuestas con las de Hobbes y Locke, clásicos en
esta materia. Finalmente, se presentará un marco comparativo en el que se examinarán los enunciados de nuestro protagonista con los de Habermas y Nozick que, desde perspectivas
distintas, perforaron fuertes críticas a las creaciones rawlsianas.

The main purpose of this paper is to reach a broad understanding of the constructions proposed by John Rawls in his works. We will focus especially on the concept of justice that he offers, and we will navigate through the different formulations that the author presents in this sense to try to consolidate a coherent and systematic understanding of his position, for which we will also rely on other theorists of justice, such as Aristotle or Kelsen.

On the other hand, we will also approach Rawlsian conceptions from a contractualist point of view, contrasting his proposals with those of Hobbes and Locke, classics in this field. Finally, a comparative framework will be presented in which the statements of our protagonist will be examined with those of Habermas and Nozick who, from different perspectives, have strongly criticized Rawlsian creations.
