Dialecto y lengua regional en Italia. Una perspectiva contemporánea

Los dialectos italianos pierden terreno en el ámbito de la lengua oral. Mientras que el italiano estándar va tomando cada vez más importancia en el país, el dialecto va perdiendo hablantes a lo largo del tiempo. A esta situación se le debe añadir el inglés, idioma que ha comenzado a desempeñar un papel cada vez más relevante en la lengua cotidiana y está cada vez más presente en el italiano hablado. Ante esta situación, en el presente trabajo se ha decidido analizar a través del libro La paranza dei bambini, de Roberto Saviano, qué tipo de relación existe entre el italiano estándar, el dialecto y el inglés en la Italia contemporánea e intentar conocer si son compartimentos estancos o, en cambio, son categorías relacionadas entre sí de alguna forma.

Italian dialects are losing ground in the field of oral language. While standard Italian is becoming increasingly important in the country, the dialect is losing speakers over time. English must be added to this situation, a language that has begun to play an increasingly relevant role in everyday language and is everyday more present in spoken Italian. Given this situation, in the present work, the book La paranza dei bambini by Roberto Saviano will be analyzed to establish what kind of relationship exists between the standard Italian, the dialect and the English in contemporary Italy. Furthermore, it will be determined if they are independent compartments or, on the other hand, they are categories related to each other in some way.
