Adopción y apego

La adopción es una medida de protección a la infancia en la que prima el interés superior del niño. Este es un recurso que proporciona a los menores la oportunidad de integrarse en una nueva familia que cumpla los criterios de idoneidad para ejercer la patria potestad dado que su familia biológica no puede cubrir sus necesidades básicas. El presente trabajo tiene como fin estudiar la vinculación que establece el menor adoptado con sus padres adoptivos y los factores implicados en dicho proceso. Explorando aspectos como sus primeros años de vida, el desarrollo de su adolescencia y la vivencia de los padres en el proceso. Se profundizará en aspectos que pueden ser relevantes como la edad del menor, su lugar de procedencia, la búsqueda de sus orígenes, el proceso de formación de identidad, el estilo educativo de los padres, los distintos apegos que puede tener el menor y la importancia de desarrollar un apego seguro que le permita crecer con una adecuada salud psicológica. Por último, se plantean algunas directrices de intervención básica para mostrar como trabajar la vinculación entre el niño adoptado y sus padres, el proceso de integrar la identidad mediante la narración de las vivencias del menor y la posibilidad de crear grupos de autoayuda para padres e hijos que sea un espacio de seguridad y confianza en el que mostrar sus temores, dudas y vivencias.

Adoption is a child protection measure in which the best interests of the child prevail. This is a resource that provides minors the opportunity to take part of a new family that meets the criteria of suitability to exercise parental authority since their biological family can not gather their basic needs. The purpose of this work is to study the bounding between the adopted child with their parents by exploring aspects such as his early years of life, the development of his adolescence and the experience of parents in the process. It will deepen in aspects that may be relevant such as the age of the child, his bithplace, the search for his origins, the process of identity formation, the educational style of his parents, the different attachments that the minor may have and the importance to develop a secure attachment that will allow him to grow with an adequate psychological health. Finally, some basic intervention guidelines are offered to show how to work with the bonding between the adopted child and his parents, the process of identity integration by the narration of the child's experiences and the possibility of creating self-helping groups where parents and children could show their fears, doubts and experiences in a space of security and confidence.
