Abordando el maltrato infantil: la prevención e intervención para un futuro mejor en el aula

El objetivo de este trabajo es exponer el maltrato como problema social y analizar las diferentes formas de manifestarse en la actualidad. Además, se estudiarán los agentes involucrados, así como los factores de riesgo. Asimismo, se expone una propuesta de intervención que tiene la intención de guiar a los profesionales de la educación en la detección y actuación contra maltrato infantil.
Para entender el concepto de maltrato infantil, se expondrá una breve contextualización que explicará de dónde viene este concepto y cómo se ha abordado a lo largo de los años para así entender su origen y su trayectoria.
Así pues, se ofrecen estrategias y herramientas para el profesorado sobre cómo abordar esta situación en el ámbito educativo indicando así las señales de alerta que pueden ayudar a detectar el maltrato infantil tanto en adolescentes como en niños y cómo actuar ante ello.

The objective of this work is to expose abuse as a social problem, and to analyze the different ways of manifesting itself today. In addition, the agents involved will be studied, as well as the risk factors. Likewise, an intervention proposal is exposed that intends to guide education professionals in the detection and action of child abuse.
To understand the concept of child abuse, a brief contextualization will be presented that will explain where this concept comes from and how it has been addressed over the years in order to understand its origin and trajectory. This will help to better understand and detect child abuse, both in adolescents and children, and how to act in response to it.
Thus, strategies and tools are offered for teachers and other professionals on how to address this situation in the educational field, thus indicating the warning signs that can help detect child abuse in both adolescents and children and how to act in response to it.
