Proyecto educativo para el paciente con hepatitis B. Información y Cuidados

Gracias a la recomendación de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) sobre la
vacunación universal en niños, adolescentes y grupos de riesgo, la Hepatitis B es
considerada una infección controlada en la mayor parte del mundo. Sin embargo, existen
zonas de alto riesgo de contagio en países tercermundistas que deben ser controladas y en
zonas donde no es elevado, miles de personas están infectadas y padecen la cronicidad de
la enfermedad siendo al mismo tiempo un foco de contagio. Se debe tener especial
consideración con estas personas y las que estén en situación de riesgo y aportarles
conocimientos para conseguir un buen manejo y control de la hepatitis B. Por ello es
necesario realizar un proyecto educativo donde se propongan objetivos enfocados a la
adquisición de conocimientos y a la mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas que
padecen hepatitis B para aportar un completo servicio sanitario.

Thanks to the recommendation of the World Health Organization (OMS) on the
vaccination universal in children, teenage and groups of risk, the Hepatitis B is considered an
infection controlled in the greater part of the world. However there still exist high risk of
contagion in zones of the third world that have to be controlled and in zones that is not
considered high risk, thousands of people are infected and suffer the chronicity of the
disease being a focus of contagion. Special care should be taken with these people and
those that are in situation of risk and give them the knowledge to achieve a good
management and control of the disease. The need to realize an educational project in which
they propose objectives focused to the adquisition of knowledge and also to the improvement
of the quality of life of the people that suffer hepatitis B to contribute a complete service of
health.
