Nuevos métodos de financiación del emprendimiento : financiación por tokens block-chain

A lo largo del presente estudio se analizará el concepto y funcionamiento de la financiación mediante tokens block-chain. Se partirá del modelo base que hasta ahora ha sido el predominante: las Initial Coin Offerings (ICO), y más tarde se introducirán las variantes más recientes de este modelo de financiación del emprendimiento, surgidas a raíz de cambios en la regulación, las Security Token Offerings, o como desarrollo desde el mundo criptográfico, las Initial Exchange Offerings. Se analizarán los riesgos propios de este tipo de operaciones y se estudiará su regulación legal en Europa y Estados Unidos.

Además, se analizará cual ha sido la rentabilidad que este tipo de financiación ha tenido hasta ahora y sus causas, y se tratará de vaticinar su tendencia hacia al futuro apoyándose en los datos más recientes. Tras comparar este método con el resto de métodos de financiación del emprendimiento, se concluirá intentando determinar su viabilidad a largo plazo y el lugar que ocupará en la industria en el futuro.

Throughout the present study, the concept and functioning of block-chain token financing will be analyzed. This analysis will be based on the model that until now has been predominant; Initial Coin Offerings (ICO); then, the most recent variants of this method of entrepreneurship financing will be analyzed, those arising from changes in regulation, the Security Token Offerings; and those that have appeared as a development from the cryptographic world, the Initial Exchange Offerings. Also, the risks inherent to this type of operations will be analyzed and the legal regulation of these operations in Europe and the United States will be discussed.

In addition, the returns that this entrepreneurship financing method has had until now will be analyzed, along its causes and its tendency towards the future, based on the most up-to-date data. This method will be compared with the other methods of entrepreneurship financing and, finally, it will be concluded by trying to determine its long-term viability and the place it will occupy in the future inside the venture financing industry.
