Los Rohingya en el estado de Rakhine : la intervención de la comunidad internacional.

La minoría étnica musulmana del estado de Rakhine lleva varias décadas sufriendo una gran discriminación y limpieza étnica por parte de las autoridades de Myanmar. El presente trabajo, en adelante TFG, tiene como objetivo analizar en detalle la situación del colectivo rohingya que está sufriendo lo que se conoce como genocidio, sin ser respetados sus libertades y derechos humanos básicos, al mismo tiempo que analiza qué acciones la comunidad internacional ha llevado a cabo y analizar cómo de efectivas han sido para hacer una serie de recomendaciones que contribuyan a conseguir el cese de violaciones cometidas por gobierno y militares de Myanmar. Eso se realiza a través de un punto de vista inductivo, es decir, se comienza describiendo cuáles son los orígenes de la discriminación hacia la minoría étnica musulmana, analizando qué crímenes se han cometido hasta el momento por parte del gobierno, ejército y sociedad de Myanmar y comentando los actores internacionales, ya sean estatales o no estatales que han intervenido en el conflicto, para concluir ofreciendo una serie de recomendaciones sobre cómo la comunidad internacional debería actuar de ahora en adelante.

The Muslim ethnic minority in Rakhine State has been suffering for several decades a great discrimination and ethnic cleansing by the Myanmar authorities. This paper, hereinafter TFG, aims to analyze in detail the situation of the Rohingya people who are suffering what is known as genocide, without being respected their freedoms and basic human rights, while analyzing what actions the international community has taken and analyze how effective they have been to make a series of recommendations to help achieve the cessation of violations committed by the government and military of Myanmar. This is done through an inductive point of view, that is, it begins by describing the origins of discrimination against the Muslim ethnic minority, analyzing what crimes have been committed so far by the government, military and society of Myanmar and commenting on the international actors, whether state or non-state that have intervened in the conflict, to conclude by offering a series of recommendations on how the international community should act from now on.
