Las Smart Cities y su implementación : los casos de España y Dinamarca

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto analizar el proceso de implementación y desarrollo de las Smart Cities en las ciudades del mundo, y el grado de ayuda que aportan las Startups a ello. Además, se pretende entender las diferencias a la hora de desarrollar los proyectos de ciudades inteligentes en las diversas urbes del mundo, así como la repercusión que tienen estas como modelo para futuros proyectos de Smart Cities en otras ciudades.
Para ello, primeramente, se va a explicar el marco teórico sobre el que se va a asentar el presente trabajo, así como el contexto en que se desarrollan las ciudades inteligentes, así como su definición e importancia en el panorama actual en que nos encontramos. Seguidamente se presentarán todas las dimensiones de las que está compuesta una Smart City, así como la herramienta clave presente en ellas, las TIC.

A continuación, se expondrán las diferentes fases que se han de desarrollar para llevar a cabo un proyecto o proyectos de Smart City, y la relevancia que tiene la colaboración público-privada como parte nueva y esencial en el sistema inteligente de ciudad. Así, se reflejarán también las oportunidades que este nuevo ámbito supone para las Startups existentes y para aquellas de nueva creación. Seguidamente se realizará un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo sobre estas ciudades inteligentes, presentando diversas métricas existentes para analizar los proyectos de Smart Cities, los problemas y desafíos a los que estas se enfrentan y por último el grado de integración de las Startups en dichas urbes hasta el momento. Finalmente, dentro del análisis, se estudiarán los casos de Barcelona y Copenhague como Smart Cities clave en el ámbito europeo, así como el rol de las Startups en ambas urbes.

Finalmente se presentarán las conclusiones de todo lo analizado anteriormente, así como recomendaciones para futuros trabajos y estudios de investigación acerca de la materia en cuestión.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the process of the implementation and development of Smart Cities in the different places of the world, At the same time, it will be analyzed the degree of help that Startups bring to their development. In addition, it is intended to understand the differences when developing smart cities' projects in the various cities of the world, as well as the impact they have as a model for future Smart Cities' projects in other cities.
For this, firstly, the theoretical framework ¬-on which this work will be based-and the context in which smart cities are developed will be explained, as well as their definition and importance in the current scenario in which we are living in. After that, it will be presented all the dimensions that compose a Smart City, as well as the key tool present in them: ICT.

Following that, it will be presented the different phases that have to be developed to carry out a Smart City's project or projects and the relevance of public-private collaboration as a new and essential part in the smart city system. This will reflect the opportunities that this new area implies for existing Startups and for those newly created. Next, a qualitative and quantitative analysis will be carried out on these smart cities, presenting various existing metrics to analyze the Smart Cities projects, the problems and challenges they face and finally the degree of integration of the Startups in these cities up to the moment. Finally, within the analysis, the cases of Barcelona and Copenhagen will be studied as key Smart Cities in the European sphere, as well as the role of Startups in both cities.

Finally, it will be presented the conclusions of everything analyzed above as well as recommendations for future work and research studies on the subject in question.
