LA SOSTENIBILIDAD DEL SISTEMA DE
PENSIONES ESPAÑOL.

En este trabajo de investigación vamos a abordar el funcionamiento y evolución de las pensiones para acercarnos al problema que actualmente pone en serio riesgo la sostenibilidad del sistema. Debido a las distintas circunstancias históricas y políticas por la que hemos ido transcurriendo se han producido múltiples cambios en busca de una mayor protección social.
El sistema de pensiones constituye uno de los pilares fundamentales del Estado de Bienestar, pero también representa una de los principales gastos para las arcas públicas del país.
La crisis económica unida al progresivo envejecimiento de la población y la acusada caída de la natalidad han puesto en serias dudas la sostenibilidad del sistema de pensiones tal y como se estructura en la actualidad.
Así, analizaremos el riesgo de las pensiones centrándonos en el problema actual para aquellos que se vayan a jubilar en el corto plazo, así como para aquellos que se jubilarán en el largo plazo, los cuales a día de hoy no tienen asegurado el cobro de la pensión.
Por ello intentaremos aportar una solución realista al problema para que las pensiones sean sostenibles en el medio- largo plazo.

In this research work we will address the functioning and evolution of pensions to approach the problem that currently puts the sustainability of the system at serious risk. Due to the different historical and political circumstances that we have been going through, there have been multiple changes in search of greater social protection.
The pension system is one of the fundamental pillars of the Welfare State, but it also represents one of the main expenses for the public coffers of the country.
The economic crisis together with the progressive aging of the population and the sharp fall in the birth rate have put in serious doubt the sustainability of the pension system as it is currently structured.
Thus, we will analyze the risk of pensions focusing on the current problem for those who are going to retire in the short term, as well as for those who will retire in the long term, which today are not insured the collection of the pension.
Therefore, we will try to provide a realistic solution to the problem so that pensions are sustainable in the medium-long term.
