La raíz de la que brota la vida es la fragilidad. Sobre esta paradoja se levanta el milagro y el drama de la existencia, su carácter de aventura, su misterio y su fuerza. Si la intemperie es nuestra casa, los otros -tan vulnerables como nosotros mismos- constituyen el terreno sobre el que caminar, al tiempo que marcan nuestras fronteras.
El presente cuaderno se asoma a las páginas de textos antiguos (el Evangelio y la Biblia hebrea) para labrar con ellos un espejo en donde descubrir el rostro de la fraternidad. Escuchamos, después, el poema de Francisco de Asís, que se hizo hermano de todo y nos ofrece, en palabras delicadas y precisas, el don de la transparencia: cómo ver en lo visible aquello que no vemos pero alienta todo lo que ante nuestra mirada está. Por último, en un tono narrativo, pasaremos revista a algunos de los ras- gos que fundamentan aquello que el autor -desde su propia experiencia de hermano- entiende por fraternidad.
El contexto actual en el que esta reflexión surge -el dolor y la incerti- dumbre provocadas por la pandemia- quiere ser visto como una oportu- nidad, también teológica, para profundizar en nuestra realidad de criaturas marcadas por la herida y abiertas al horizonte imprevisible de la esperanza y el amor.

Later, we listen to the poem of Francisco de Asís, who became a brother of all and offers us, in delicate and precise words, the gift of transparency: how to see in the visible what we do not see but encourage everything before our eyes. is. Finally, in a narrative tone, we will review some of the features that support what the author -from his own experience as a brother- understands by fraternity.
The current context in which this reflection arises - the pain and uncertainty caused by the pandemic - wants to be seen as an opportunity, also theological, to delve into our reality of creatures marked by wounds and open to the unpredictable horizon. of hope and love.
