Un mandamiento de difícil encaje en nuestro siglo XXI. ¿Qué es honrar? ¿Quién honra hoy a quién? Un sencillo intento de acercarnos a la voluntad original de esta ley del corazón de todo ser humano nos llevará a reconocer la necesidad de integrarnos a esta eterna cadena de solidaridad intergeneracional, de cuidado mutuo e mayores y pequeños. Así, como un sencillo latido de vida que nos lleve a honrar y a obrar para ser dignos de ser honrados, bajo el único mandato del amor, será como únicamente podremos garantizar la tan soñada sostenibilidad global.
A command that is somewhat difficult to reconcile in the 21st century. What does it mean to honour? Whom honours whom today? The mere attempt to engage in the original will of this law from the heart of all human beings, would allow us to recognise the need to integrate ourselves in this eternal chain of intergenerational
solidarity, mutually caring for the young and old. Similarly, a as simple heartbeat of life that leads us to honour and to work to be honoured, under the sole command
of love, it is the only way we can ensure the global sustainability so desired.
