GOBIERNO Y SECURIZACIÓN PARA EL MODELADO DE API COMO IMPULSO A LA TRANSFORMACIÓN DIGITAL EN EL SECTOR BANCARIO

En el presente proyecto se ha realizado un estudio de las soluciones que se están implementando como parte del proceso de trasformación digital que están sufriendo en el sector bancario. Se centra principalmente el objetivo en el gobierno y securización de las APIs bancarias.

Las APIs son el medio por el cual, los bancos están viendo la solución para cumplir en tiempo y forma con las nuevas normativas vigentes recientemente este año. Las APIs no son más que las herramientas utilizadas para comunicar las aplicaciones con otros servicios, tanto de manera interna como de manera externa, si se decide exponer ciertos servicios al mundo.

Primero se ha realizado un estudio de la tecnología usada actualmente, destacando principalmente Kong como API Manager que realizará las tareas de API Management, AWS como plataforma que nos proveerá los servicios cloud que se necesiten y Eclipse Oxygen, el IDE de programación, junto con Maven, herramienta de gestión y construcción de proyectos Java, elegidos para la realización del desarrollo del proyecto.

Después en el ámbito de la seguridad, se ha realizado el estudio de una plataforma completa de seguridad de una entidad financiera, y cómo interactúan las APIs y las llamadas a ellas con los diferentes niveles de seguridad descritos en dicha plataforma.

Por último, a modo de reunir todo lo estudiado en el proyecto y darle forma, se ha desarrollado un servicio Web, que bien podría ser la Web de un banco o cualquier otra entidad financiera, implementando en ella todas las buenas prácticas de programación y algunas piezas de la plataforma de seguridad descrita.

In the present project, a study has been made of the solutions that are being implemented as part of the process of digital transformation that they are suffering in the banking sector. The main focus is on the governance and securization of banking APIs.

 The APIs are how banks are looking at the solution to comply in time and form with the new regulations in force recently this year. The APIs are just the tools used to communicate the applications with other services, both internally and externally, if you decide to expose certain services to the world.

First, a study of the technology currently used has been made, highlighting mainly Kong as API Manager who will perform the tasks of API Management, AWS as a platform that will provide us with the cloud services that are needed and Eclipse Oxygen, the IDE of programming, together with Maven, tool for management and construction of Java projects, chosen to carry out the development of the project.

Then, in the field of security, the study of a complete security platform of a financial institution has been carried out, and how APIs and calls to them interact with the different levels of security described in said platform.

Finally, in order to gather everything studied in the project and shape it, a Web service has been developed, which could well be the Web of a bank or any other financial institution, implementing all the good programming practices and some pieces of the safety platform described.
