Funcionamiento familiar y resiliencia en contexto de exclusión y vulnerabilidad social

Esta investigación indaga la relación entre la percepción del funcionamiento familiar y la capacidad resiliente en sujetos que enfrentan situación adversa de pobreza, y una parte de ellos, la muerte violenta de un familiar. La muestra está conformada por 60 sujetos habitantes del barrio el Retiro (Cali-Colombia), y se divide en dos grupos: 30 sujetos que no han experimentado la muerte por causas violentas de un familiar, y 30 que han vivido hace al menos 1 año y no más de 5 años la muerte violenta de un miembro de la familia. Se utilizó el Cuestionario de Percepción del Funcionamiento Familiar FF-SIL (1999) y la Escala de medición de la resiliencia RESI-M (2010). Los resultados muestran una correlación alta entre la percepción del funcionamiento familiar y la capacidad resiliente en toda la muestra. Se observó que la muerte violenta no es una situación que perjudica significativamente la percepción del funcionamiento familiar y la resiliencia. Con esto concluimos que la muestra seleccionada posee recursos personales, familiares y culturales que les permiten enfrentar y sobrellevar las situaciones adversas.

This investigation analyzes the relation between the perception of the familiar functioning and the resilience of poverty and not normative crises like the violent death of a relative. The sample is formed by 60 inhabitants of the neighborhood of Barrio el Retiro (Cali-colombia) and it is divided in two groups: 30 inhabitants that have not experienced the violent death of a relative, and the other 30 that have lived at least 1 year ago and not more than 5 years the violent death of a relative. There was used the Questionnaire of Perception of the Familiar Functioning FF-SIL (1999) and the Scale of measurement of the resilience RESI-M (2010). The results show a high correlation between the perception of the familiar functioning and the resilience in the whole sample. With the investigation I observed that the violent death is not a situation that harms significantly the perception of the familiar functioning and the resilience. According to the results, we conclude that the selected sample contains personal, familiar and cultural resources that allow them to face and to carry on the adverse situations.
