La religión en la posmodernidad tardía se entiende como espiritualidad, centrada en el bienestar emocional del yo, y peregrinación personal, trashumante a la búsqueda del encuentro con uno mismo. En la espiritualidad ignaciana lo afectivo y la subjetividad ocupan un lugar destacado. Desde aquí se plantea la posibilidad de un entronque con las demandas culturales del momento. Pero también se corre el riesgo de entender las mociones espirituales desde las claves de la posmodernidad. En este capítulo se aportan pistas ignacianas para vivir y leer las mociones desde la espiritualidad ignaciana y la tradición cristiana

Religion in late postmodernity is understood as spirituality, centered on the emotional well-being of the self, and personal, transhumant pilgrimage in search of self-encounter. In the Ignatian spirituality, the affective and the subjectivity occupy a prominent place. From here the possibility arises of a connection with the cultural demands of the moment. But there is also the risk of understanding spiritual motives within the keys of postmodernity.
