En la presente revisión, se definirá qué es el terrorismo, las características básicas de sus organizaciones, así como las diferencias entre los diversos grupos. Se hará un breve recorrido por su evolución histórica, reflejando así que este tipo de actos no son solo sucesos actuales, sino que llevan ocurriendo más de lo que podemos imaginar.
Asimismo, se centrará el trabajo en la erradicación de los grupos terroristas, indagando en si es posible que esto ocurra de forma completa. De igual manera, se describe la trayectoria y recorrido de dos ejemplos de grupos muy similares, que están disueltos: IRA y ETA. Viendo así cuáles fueron las actuaciones realizadas por cada gobierno en su momento, procediendo a su resumen para ver si se podrían reproducir las mismas en otras situaciones de amenaza terrorista.

In this review, it will define what terrorism is, the mainly characteristics of its organizations, as well as the differences between various groups. It will do a brief tour of the evolution of the concept, to reflect that these types of acts are not something current, but rather that these have been happening for more than we can imagine.
Likewise, it will focus the work on the eradication of these, investigating if it is possible that this can happen completely. In the same way, the trajectory and journey of two examples that when they are described, the other one resonates in our minds: ETA and IRA, which are currently dissolved. It will see what the actions were carried out by the Spanish government and the English government at that time, and it will collect them to see if we can reproduce them in other situations of terrorism threat.
