Conociendo el pasado, viviendo el presente e influyendo en el futuro

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado presenta una programación didáctica para el área de ciencias sociales en el curso de quinto de primaria.
Se recogen 15 unidades didácticas, estando una de ellas desarrollada, concretamente la unidad número seis. El título es “¿Te embarcas en mi carabela?”, y el motivo por el que se ha decidido desarrollar esta unidad es por la importancia del tema a tratar. El descubrimiento de América es un acontecimiento histórico que supuso el paso hacia la Edad Moderna y una expansión geográfica y comercial entre los continentes.
Se presenta el tema a los alumnos mostrándoles la imagen de los tres navíos de Cristóbal Colón. Esta imagen forma parte del hilo conductor que une todas las unidades didácticas, puesto que en todas se comienza observando, analizando y comentando diferentes ilustraciones. Todas tienen relación con los contenidos que se van a trabajar y buscar potenciar la motivación del alumno.
El objetivo principal es el desarrollo pleno del alumno y la adquisición de los contenidos de manera experiencial e innovadora.

This Final Degree Project presents an educational programme for the area of social sciences in the fifth year of primary school.
It includes 15 didactic units, one of them being developed, specifically unit number six. The title is "Are you coming on board?", and the reason why it has been decided to develop this unit is because of the importance of the subject to be dealt with. The discovery of America is a historical event that marked the beginning of the Modern Age and a geographical and commercial expansion between continents.
The topic is introduced to the students by showing them the image of Christopher Columbus' three ships. This image forms part of the common thread that links all the teaching units, as they all begin by looking at, analysing and commenting on different illustrations. All of them are related to the contents to be worked on and seek to boost student motivation.
The main objective is the full development of the pupil and the acquisition of the contents in an experiential and innovative way.
