Comprensión de la disfunción sexual femenina desde la cognición, la afectividad y el estilo de apego

Conocer qué factores afectan directamente a las disfunciones sexuales femeninas es imprescindible para realizar una adecuada intervención. Con este fin, durante el trabajo se abordan tres factores predisponentes: cognición, emoción y estilo de apego. Para ello, se introducen en primer lugar ciertas características de la sexualidad humana como son: las fases de la respuesta sexual, el componente biofisiológico y las diagnosis disfuncionales correspondientes, tanto en la clasificación del DSM-IV-TR como en la del DSM-V. Una vez conocidos, se lleva a cabo el análisis etiológico, describiendo la confluencia de los factores en torno a las disfunciones y su repercusión en el mantenimiento de éstas. Se hace hincapié en la cercana y continua influencia causal, ya que desde la estructura del apego se derivan tendencias emocionales y cognitivas, que a su vez se repercuten mutuamente; y es aquí donde recae el contenido y la necesidad del trabajo, aportando claridad a la idiosincrasia, la multicausalidad y la interrelación de dichas problemáticas.

Knowing what factors directly affect female sexual dysfunctions is essential to perform an adequate intervention. To this end, three predisposing factors are addressed in the work: cognition, emotion, and attachment style. For this, certain features of human sexuality are introduced, such as: the phases of sexual response, the biophysiological component and the corresponding dysfunctional diagnoses, both in the DSM-IV-TR and DSM-V classification. Once theu are known, the etiological analysis is carried out, describing the confluence of the factors surrounding the dysfunctions and their repercussion on their maintenance. Emphasis is placed on the close and continuous causal influence, since emotional and cognitive tendencies derive from the attachment structure, which in turn mutually affect each other; and it is here where the content and the need for the work lies, bringing clarity to the idiosyncrasy, multi-causality and interrelation of these problems.
