CHINA Y ESTADOS UNIDOS: DOS POTENCIAS INEVITABLEMENTE INTERDEPENDIENTES POR LA COMPOSICIÓN DEL ORDEN MUNDIAL

Actualmente existe una gran expectación por las relaciones que mantienen las potencias de China y Estados Unidos. Concretamente, por la forma en la que compiten la una con la otra por la hegemonía mundial. Es por esto que cuando pensamos en las relaciones sino-americanas, nos viene a la mente una relación de rivalidad continua. Sin embargo, en un mundo globalizado como el actual, en el que todos los entes internacionales se encuentran en constante contacto, y las barreras son cada vez menores, no podemos pasar por alto que, a pesar de todo, estas dos naciones son interdependientes en varios aspectos. Desde 1949, las dos naciones han ido configurando su posicionamiento internacional para hacer frente a diferentes conflictos y mantenerse como potencias mundiales. En el presente trabajo se estudiará cómo, a través de la globalización, se crean relaciones de interdependencia inevitables. Además, el concepto de coopetición, nos introducirá de qué manera es posible la coopetición y cooperación simultáneas; clave para entender la interdependencia entre Estados Unidos y China. En primer lugar, se estudiará esta interdependencia a nivel cultural, a través del caso de la industria cinematográfica, y, posteriormente, a nivel económico, se analizará, cómo grandes gigantes tecnológicos de los dos estados se relacionan entre sí.

There is currently a great deal of expectation about the relations between the powers of China and the United States. Specifically, by the way they compete with each other for world hegemony. This is why when we think of Sino American relations, a relationship of ongoing rivalry comes to mind. However, in today's globalized world, where all international bodies are in constant contact and barriers are more and more insignificant, we cannot ignore the fact that, despite everything, these two nations are interdependent in several aspects. Since 1949, the two nations have been shaping their international positioning to deal with different conflicts and to maintain themselves as world powers. This paper will study how, through globalization, relationships of interdependence are inevitably created. In addition, the concept of coopetition will introduce us to how simultaneous coopetition and cooperation is possible; key to understanding the interdependence between the United States and China. Firstly, this interdependence will be studied at a cultural level, through the case of the film industry, and subsequently, at an economic level, it will be analyzed how the great technological giants of the two states relate to each other.
