Agresiones sexuales múltiples e individuales entre desconocidos: diferencias y variables predictoras

Las agresiones sexuales en grupos es un tema poco estudiado pero recientemente han aparecido estudios en otros países que abordan las diferencias ente las agresiones sexuales en grupo e individuales. Este capítulo pretende profundizar sobre las diferencias entre estos dos grupos en relación al perfil de los agresores, la agresión y la víctima. Cuatro variables predictivas de las agresiones sexuales en grupo se han identificado: edad, nacionalidad, alcohol y consumo de drogas y método de control violento.

Multiple-perpetrator rape is an under-studied topic, but there has been a recent increase in studies on the differences between multiple-perpetrator sexual offenses and the ones perpetrated by solo offenders. This article aims to gain a deeper understanding of the differences between multiple- and solo-offender rape from a Spanish sample. The differences are explored in terms of variables relating to the perpetrators, the characteristics of the assault, and the victims. Four predictive variables of multiple-perpetrator rape are identified: age, nationality, alcohol or drug use, and violent method of control.
