Acuerdo de Paz en Colombia : contribución a la estabilidad económica y política

Desde 1948 la Republica de Colombia se ha sumergido en uno de los conflictos armados más duraderos del mundo. Tras el Acuerdo de Paz firmado el 24 de noviembre de 2016, se puso fin al conflicto entre las dos facciones combatientes, el Gobierno Nacional y las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC). La idoneidad de este acuerdo se ha visto cuestionada en varias ocasiones, una de ellas con el NO al Acuerdo en el plebiscito de octubre de 2016. Lo único innegable es que su firma ha sido un punto de inflexión para un país que llevaba demasiado tiempo enfrentado consigo mismo.
Este trabajo pretende analizar el Acuerdo Final y su contribución a una estabilidad económica y política. El punto de partida de esta reflexión se basa en el estudio del contexto colombiano y las causas del conflicto armado desde sus orígenes. Por otro lado, pretende investigar las negociaciones y las demandas económicas de la guerrilla. Por último, la investigación hace mayor énfasis en los aspectos relevantes del Acuerdo Final y cómo pueden contribuir, positiva o negativamente a la estabilidad en la región cafetera. En concreto, se examinará de una forma más profunda la Reforma Rural Integral, reivindicación histórica y causa principal del nacimiento de las FARC-EP.

Since 1948 the Republic of Colombia has been submerged in one of the most enduring armed conflicts in the world. After the Peace Agreement signed on November 24, 2016 by the National Government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the conflict between the two fighting factions came to an end. The suitability of this agreement has been questioned several times, one of them with the NO to the Agreement in the October 2016 plebiscite. The only undeniable information is that its signature has been a turning point for a country that has been faced with itself for too long.
This paper aims to analyze the Final Agreement and its contribution to economic and political stability. The starting point of this reflection is based on the study of the Colombian context and the causes of the armed conflict since its origins. On the other hand, it intends to investigate the negotiations and the economic demands of the guerrillas. Finally, the research has greater emphasis on the relevant aspects of the Final Agreement and how they can contribute, positively or negatively, to stability in the region. In particular, the Integral Rural Reform, historical declaration and the main cause of the birth of the FARC-EP, will be examined in a deeply approach.
