Polis y justicia

En el conjunto de ensayos recogidos en esta obra se adivina un hilo conductor común y troncal, que se corresponde, en síntesis, con la reflexión que ha ocupado intelectualmente en los últimos años al autor, como jurista y académico. Ésta es, básicamente, la recuperación de la naturaleza y función del Derecho, cuyo objeto es la Justicia. Una tarea que es consustancial a la restauración de los principios que garantizan el orden y la prosperidad de toda comunidad política, la polis. En este sentido, la obra que tiene ante sí el lector se presenta como una firme aportación intelectual, realista y constructiva, en defensa de la mejor tradición clásica ante la acusada deriva de disolución cultural que está marcando los tiempos actuales.

In the set of essays collected in this work there is a common thread that corresponds, in synthesis, with the reflection that has occupied the author intellectually in recent years, as a jurist and academic. This is, basically, the recovery of the nature and function of Law, whose object is Justice. A task that is consubstantial to the restoration of the principles that guarantee the order and prosperity of any political community, the polis. In this sense, the work before the reader is presented as a firm intellectual contribution, realistic and constructive, in defense of the best classical tradition in the face of the sharp drift of cultural dissolution that is marking the current times.
