The legal limbo of environmental migrants

Un problema creciente en la comunidad internacional es la migración por causas climáticas. La existencia de una suerte de limbo legal respecto a las personas afectadas por este tipo de migración constituye el objeto del trabajo.

Environmentally induced migration is a growing problem which has not yet been
effectively addressed by the international community. While there are several
conventions on environmental law for the adaptation and mitigation against climate
change, and several conventions on human rights and the rights of refugees, there is any
legal instrument concerned with the protection of people displacing as a consequence of
devastating natural disasters.
