Psicología y motivación en la figura del árbitro

En el presente Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) pondré en práctica una investigación con los distintos métodos aprendidos en la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación y Análisis de Datos en la Actividad Física y el Deporte.
Conoceremos la motivación que muestra una figura clave en los partidos de fútbol: el árbitro. Para poder abordar este aspecto, en primer lugar, analizaremos la formación que debe recibir el colegiado, dada la carencia existente en el ámbito psicológico, algo que resulta fundamental para conocer sus etapas como árbitro y las motivaciones que les mueven.
En cuanto a la investigación, realizaremos una encuesta relacionada con esa motivación y los problemas psicológicos junto con el arbitraje. En ella preguntaremos a 213 árbitros y exárbitros principales y asistentes sobre la motivación que tuvieron para iniciarse en el mundo del arbitraje, para mantenerse y los motivos por los que han abandonado o abandonarían.
Con los resultados de este trabajo conoceremos, aparte de cuáles son esas motivaciones, lo necesario que resulta para una profesión tan estresante y que provoca tanta presión que se estudie el aspecto psicológico en la formación y durante la carrera del árbitro, algo que resulta prácticamente desconocido y que resulta fundamental para que el colegiado mantenga dicha motivación.

In this Final Degree Project (FDP) I will put into practice an investigation using the different methods learnt in the subject Research Methodology and Data Analysis in Physical Activity and Sport.
We will learn about the motivation shown by a key figure in football matches: the referee. In order to address this aspect, firstly, we will analyse the training that referees should receive, given the existing lack of psychological training, which is essential to understand their stages as referees and the motivations that drive them.
In terms of research, we will carry out a survey related to this motivation and psychological problems together with refereeing. In it, we will ask 213 referees and former main and assistant referees about the motivation they had to start in the world of refereeing, to stay and the reasons why they have left or would leave.
With the results of this work we will know, apart from what these motivations are, how necessary it is for a profession that is so stressful and causes so much pressure to study the psychological aspect in the training and during the career of the referee, something that is practically unknown, and which is fundamental for the referee to maintain this motivation.
